I actually can't believe it's been so long since I posted last. I have been so busy lately that I haven't even had time to sit down and think about a blog post! (Okay, maybe I've been a little lazy too). Anyway, I figured it was time for me to post about what I've been up to for the last few weeks, so here it is!
After spending about a month and a half at home, I'm now back in the city where I live during the year for university. I'm so happy to be back. I can really feel already how different this year will be to last year. In previous years when I've returned to come back for uni, I really haven't wanted to leave home and I was always a bit down about it, even after spending almost 3 entire months at home on holidays. This year, it's different. I was itching to get back and I didn't want to spend any more time at home. It really is a relief to be back here and I'm so so happy I can't even describe it, which is a nice change! Anyway, after I got back I decided after a few days to head to the beach for a couple of days (picture above, taken by moi) which was really lovely, I got in some exercise and some fresh ocean air and water and it was nice to relax at the beach. I'm obviously not at the beach anymore, I'm back in the city, and I'm really enjoying myself. I thought I would be bored here with nothing to do for the three or so weeks before uni started again but I'm really not! I have a new housemate/roommate whatever you want to call it, and it's going a lot better than with my previous housemate (that was a bit of a nightmare). I joined the gym today (ouch, I'm sore already - seriously), I've been to a couple of parties and out to the movies and I've been socialising a lot more in general, and I've applied for a ton of jobs so hopefully something comes out of that. I know this is a bit of a rambling post, and kudos to anyone who actually reads the whole thing, but I'm just so excited for this year. I just can't believe how great it's already turning out to be. My new housemate and I are going to be having a housewarming party in the next couple of weeks with a bunch of our friends and it's just going to be some much fun. I'm so excited! Okay now I'm just repeating myself and starting to sound a bit crazy, but anyway, I hope that you are all as happy with the new year and what it has/is/will bring as I am!
I also hope to blog a bit more too, by the way. x
I'd like to point out that theres no such thing as a bad blogger just because you haven't posted!
ReplyDeletePost when you want to, not because you feel you have to! :D

Thanks love! I think I will have to do that - otherwise it sort of takes the fun out of it a bit, doesn't it. xx
DeleteIt's so hard to fit in time for blogging! I now only post something when i want to, rather than sticking to a schedule - and its made me enjoy doing it a lot more x

I think that's a much better idea than trying to post every couple of days - especially when I'm on holidays and not doing much! It's so hard when all I've been doing lately is going to the gym and watching parks and recreation - I think I'll have to adopt your way of doing it! Thanks lovely. xx
